About the program

In line with the Northern Borders University Vice president of Academic Affairs' efforts to restructure and unify academic programs, as well as enhance the study plans for the university's applied colleges, the Northern Border University Council approved the establishment of a new accounting program. This program, approved during the council's sixth session on 24/4/1435 AH, will grant an associate’s degree in administrative sciences with specializations in accounting and business administration. The program is designed to be completed over three years, comprising a preparatory year followed by two years of specialized study. Additionally, the program is open to high school graduates from both scientific and literary tracks.

Objectives

The Accounting Program aims to:.

  • Prepare graduates who are scientifically and practically qualified in administrative sciences to meet labor market needs, while adhering to professional ethics.
  •  Update and develop academic programs to align with advancements in the specialization.
  • Communication with the local community to address its needs in administrative sciences.
  • Enhance the capabilities and skills of faculty members to effectively use the latest technologies in the educational process.
